Year 11

Passport to the Future

Welcome to the Year 11 section of the St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy website

Our theme this year is:

‘Passport to the Future’

Year 11 is a difficult year of assessments, modules and examinations, but we have high hopes and expectations of our Year 11 pupils, and we pray that they are all able use their God given talents and abilities to deliver their potential and beyond.

It is a year that requires commitment, organisation and belief, all qualities we encourage and instil in our pupils. By performing to the best of their ability, and participating in all aspects of school life, our Year 11 pupils can achieve their passport to the future and move on to the Sixth form, to college or to employment with their heads held high. The key to the passport is full attendance, a good attitude to studying, revision and support together with a healthy lifestyle. We will offer our Year 11 pupils a great deal of advice and support over the course of this year, and we hope that they will use this to make the right decisions for their future.

The final Mass and celebration held at the end of June will be the culmination of their 5 years at St John Fisher and is an event we hope will fully celebrate their achievements and experiences with us. We also look forward to celebrating their success in the summer on results day.
