Career Academy Graduation May 2014

The Sixth Form Students from St John Fisher High School boarded the minibus to head over the Pennines to their Graduation Ceremony which this year was held in Manchester Town Hall on Wednesday 14th May. The ceremony celebrates the hard work and commitment that they have put in over the last two years.

Pictured with ‘Action Jackson’ a motivational speaker the students (from left to right) are Ziyaad Patel, Abigail Linley, Nukhba Tulain, Emily Mould, Lisa-Marie Brewerton, Aiysha Hussain, Laura Green, Nabiya Farooq, Nadia Khan, Sonia Akhtar and Kainat Bibi.  They have graduated in either Health and Social Care or Business.  As part of their graduation they have had to complete an internship of between four and six weeks, meet regularly with their mentors and attend a variety of workshops and guru lectures.  They have had the opportunity to visit a variety of workplaces and gain a better knowledge of the world of work and how they operate.
