Anti-Bullying Event

Four of our school’s trained Anti-Bullying Ambassadors attended an Anti-Bullying – Sharing Good Practice event Thursday 25th February, organised by the Diana Award. The workshop was hosted by Silcoates School in Wakefield.

The students were accompanied by two teachers and the event was aimed at showcasing the successful anti-bullying initiatives that have been introduced at Silcoates School while giving attending schools the opportunity to share good examples of anti-bullying practice. Another element of the afternoon’s activities was to offer refresher training for our anti-bullying ambassadors.
The event was fun and interesting but with a serious message. The students who attended from SJF behaved impeccably throughout and were a massive credit to our school.
If you are experiencing any issues or feel you are being bullied there are various ways in which you can access help and support:

  • Talk to a Mentor or Pastoral Manager
  • Speak to one of SJF’s trained Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
  • Come along to a weekly Anti-Bullying drop-in session on a Thursday lunchtime in Y9
